JUNIOR DIVING COURSES
These courses introduce children between the ages of 9 and 15 to the world of scuba diving, while also promoting respect and education toward the sea.
This enchanting underwater experience is also known as "Baptism of the Sea."
In the Discover Scuba Diving course, you will participate in a short theory lesson in which you will learn the basics of underwater pressure and compensation techniques. Afterwards, you will make your first scuba dive, guided and accompanied by your instructor.
This experience is perfect for anyone who is curious about trying scuba diving, offering an easy, safe and supervised dive.
The spots chosen for this type of dive allow you to explore rock formations, shoals of poseidonia and observe some of the marine species typical of the Carloforte seabed.

This diving course will take you to an intermediate level of knowledge, placing you between absolute beginners and the first certified level. The course to become a Scuba Diver includes 3 shallow water dives and 3 theory lessons. After obtaining the Scuba Diver certification, you will be able to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters, always accompanied by a professional. Within a certain period, it will be possible to obtain the Open Water Diver certification, crediting the theoretical and practical lessons already completed.
This certification allows you to explore new places, often inaccessible to those who only snorkel: you will be able to observe marine species, vegetation and coral formations that populate the marine area of Carloforte and Isola Piana.

The Open Water Diver certification is the first level that allows you to dive without the mandatory supervision of a professional (although we always recommend diving in pairs).
The course includes 5 theory modules, in which you will learn the principles, risks, and effects of pressure on the human body underwater, and at least 6 practical dives. These dives will help you to become familiar with underwater breathing, maintain proper buoyancy, and handle any unforeseen underwater occurrences. With the Open Water Diver certification, you will be qualified to dive up to a maximum depth of 18 meters (12 meters for children between 10 and 14 years old).
The spots chosen for this course will allow you to explore some of the most striking areas of Carloforte.

The Advanced Open Water course enables you to obtain a second-level diving certification through 5 dives, 3 of which can be selected from 10 different specialties (such as wreck diving, night diving, etc.), along with the study of related theory modules. With this certification, you will be qualified to dive to depths of up to 30 meters without the need to be accompanied by professionals.
We have selected some of the most fascinating places to earn this certification. During the dives, you will be able to observe scorpionfish, moray eels, lobsters and coral formations that populate the marine area of Carloforte.

LEASURE DIVING COURSES

Once you become an Open Water Instructor, you will be able to conduct dives and issue patents.

It can happen that a lot of time passes between obtaining your certification and the next opportunity to dive again, or, as is often the case, that diving is an activity limited to the summer season, with intervals of up to a year between dives.

These courses enhance the experience of those who wish to dive in specific environments, such as wrecks, caves, cold water or night dives.
Often, the most fascinating wonders can be found beyond a depth of 18 meters, far from the noise of the surface and untouched by human passage: striking wrecks, unusual fish and creatures, brightly colored seabeds.
Through this course, you will acquire the knowledge and techniques necessary to dive to 40 meters. You will learn how to choose and use the proper equipment, follow proper communication procedures with your dive buddy, and manage air to avoid narcosis and make sure you have enough air to rise to the surface.

The Nitrox Specialty course is increasingly popular among specialty divers, as it allows longer dives with reduced decompression time during ascent due to the special gas mixture.

EXPERT TRAINING
Professional courses prepare you to become an Instructor, allowing you to share your passion for the sea with others and turn diving into a career.
Once you have obtained this certification, you will have reached the first level of professional diving instructor. The length of the course is not predetermined, as your instructor will determine when you are ready to become a Divemaster. You will need to accumulate many hours of diving, working closely with your instructor to hone your rescue techniques and learn how to prevent common but often dangerous diving accidents.
As a Divemaster, you will be able to supervise dives and assist other instructors during diving courses.

However, this course provides only part of the knowledge needed to become a fully certified and autonomous instructor. You will still be able to competently and efficiently assist other instructors during courses to become a diver.
